Your description of the trash was very entertaining =) It seems like you're doing well but if I were you I'd try and make the most of the 2 free days. Also, your experience is as immersiony as you make it. If you act like English is herpes 80% of the time I'm sure you'll find a way to speak more and more Japanese.
